Our Process - Residential Schemes
We work closely with our clients at every stage of the development process, from initial design through to project completion and handover. By creating a proactive and positive relationship between design team and client, we ensure that the highest quality of finish is achieved within budget.

Our residential schemes process:
1. Analysis -
One of our friendly team will arrange a meeting with you to go through your needs and requirements for the intended project. Through our expertise and technical knowledge, we often aim to present some immediate suggestions on how the design could be developed so the optimum use of space can be achieved.

2. Proposal -
Based upon the brief and the initial discussion, DG Contracts will provide a quotation and proposal - highlighting a schedule of works, costings and a full programme which you can review in your own time.

3. Design & Value engineering -
Following your review of the proposal, DG Contracts can offer Value Engineering options which explore alternative design options or use of different materials to create similar objectives and cost efficiencies.

4. Pre-Construction - Upon the acceptance of the proposal, DG Contracts will contact you with a fully detailed programme highlighting the various sequencing of the scheme and other considerations which you may or may not have taken into account.

For example, some of these may include:
• Planning & Building control notifications.
• Highway closure/disruption.
• Statutory authorities - Gas, power, water services & telecoms.
• Asbestos.
• Insurances - Notify your insurers.


5. Delivery - The DG Contracts team will commence the project upon the agreed start date. Regular contact and updates will be maintained throughout the project so that you are fully aware of the latest developments and the progress of the build.

6. Handover - The DG contracts team ensures that the client receives a smooth transition into the new space once the project has been completed. We will provide all of the necessary training on any equipment you have requested prior to you using the space to ensure your environment is working as you intended. We always ask our clients to provide feedback and to complete our customer questionnaire so that we can highlight any potential areas for improvement.
